Craft Beer

Craft Beer: A Journey of Taste and Tradition

Craft beer, unlike its mass-produced counterparts, offers a unique blend of tradition, innovation, and of course, taste. The meticulous process, from selecting the finest grains to the nuanced art of fermentation, ensures each bottle is a story in itself. At Trails End Taphouse, our commitment is to bring to your table an array of these stories, each more intriguing than the last.

Just to name a few of our signature craft beers

Field to Ferment Simcoe: Fremont Brewing, Pale Ale - American

Brewing is the craft of blending science with artistry then introducing the mystical. Field to Ferment exemplifies this adventure. We will brew this fresh hop ale throughout the entire hop harvest in Yakima using each of four hop varieties as they are harvested. At least that’s the plan. Nature may have a different plan. Such is the harvest. Each can has a date and brew number stamped on the bottom; check FremontBrewing.com for the exact hops used in your beer. In order of harvest, we will brew with fresh Centennial, Simcoe,™ Citra,™ and finally Mosaic™ hops. Field to Ferment represents a colossal collaboration between the brewery and our hop farmers. No one has attempted to brew fresh hop beers throughout the entire season. We will make countless trips between the fields in Yakima and the brewery in Fremont, loaded with tens of thousands of pounds of fresh, juicy hops. Nothing is fresher, nothing is better for a brewer. So, please do enjoy this beer absolutely fresh, and enjoy the adventure this beer represents…Because Fresh Hop Beer Matters! “Fresh hops are the best hops.” – VWP

CLS Farm Harvest (2023): Matchless Brewing, IPA - American

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…for hops and you too! Our 6th annual fresh hop collaboration with C.L.S. Farms is made with over 600 lbs of fresh Centennial hop cones straight from their fields to our stainless steel tanks. Look for big green floral notes, hints of lemon/lime and just a touch of refreshing cucumber. There is nothing quite like the first fresh hop beer of the year!

Homegrown Fresh Hop IPA (2023): Bale Breaker Brewing Company, IPA - American

Bale Breaker Brewing Company, a brewery located on their family’s 4th generation hop farm in the beautiful Yakima Valley and known for their quick access to the freshest of fresh hops, is excited to announce their three canned fresh hop releases for this September: Homegrown Fresh Hop IPA, Fresh Hop Frenz IPA, and Citra Slicker Wet Hop IPA.

Sabro Fresh Hop 2023: Bickersons Brewhouse, IPA - Other

“This is an amazing neighborhood brewery!! So happy they are in ours!! The owners are the nicest and they have brewed us some great beer! Hubby has loved all he has tried. I am a cider girl and they have great ciders available.” - Reviewed by Ronda

Enchanted Frontier: Boundary Bay Brewery, IPA - Cold

The voyage of Enchanted Frontier Cold IPA amalgamates the hop-forward nature of an IPA with the snappy character of a lager. This Cold IPA's crispy directive is derived from the use of lager yeast and fermentation style, while its dense hop flavor warps from and intrepid dosing of Cryo Mosaic hops. Aromatics of blueberry and resin flare to the palate with a pronounced bitterness and balanced sweetness.

Triplecicle: Matchless Brewing, IPA - Triple New England / Hazy

Triplecicle is 3 IPAs in one! Heavily dry-hopped with citrus-forward Citra, Comet and Chinook hops went into this, as well as whole Madagascar vanilla beans, and finished with citrus terpenes to make a rich and orange-creamy finish. If you’re a fan of Creamcicles, you know what we’re talking about.
